Kevin Owens Vs Bill Goldberg & Jack Gallagher Vs Neville & Samoa Joe Vs Sami Zayn.
Kevin Owens Vs Bill Goldberg
Goldberg defeated Kevin Owens at Fastlane on Sunday night to become WWE universal champion for the first time in his career.
He received an assist from Chris Jericho, who returned for the first time since his beat down at the hands of Kevin Owens on Raw. WWE showed Y2J standing on the entrance ramp.
With Owens distracted momentarily, Goldberg hit a Spear, which was the prelude to the Jackhammer. In 20 seconds, Goldberg became champion, That meaning his date with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 will be for the Universal Championship.
Jack Gallagher Vs Neville
This was the most super fun fight on the entire event as it had a level of energy not seen before it. Both men went at it like it mattered more than anything else that came before.
Jack Gallagher’s head butts in particular were brutal to watch, but Neville also stepped up his game to pull out the Red Arrow, which has not been seen in quite some time.
By the end of the fight, Gallagher looked less like a joke to those who might not be used to his style, and Neville looked like he has a legitimate claim to call himself the king of the cruiser weights.
Samoa Joe Vs Sami Zayn
The biggest story to tell was Samoa Joe’s dominance, which was illustrated here with his submission victory.
that was accomplished but done in a way that didn’t have to be a complete squash that killed Zayn’s credibility.
This fast, Samoa Joe has illustrated that he is at least above Zayn on the roster in terms of power and possibly even further up the ladder than that.
It also paints Sami Zayn as the underdog if this is a challenge he is meant to overcome. He excels best in that role, so both men are in a good spot right now after this match.
